About:

Danielle is passionate about promoting the idea of incorporating physical and mental health as a more essential part of everyone’s health and wellness journey. She enjoys doing CrossFit or anything movement related -- running, pickleball, frisbee golf, or walking her dog Sasha. When not moving, she can be found adding to her junk journal or online shopping.

Theoretical Framework and Modalities:

Danielle is interested in cultivating a relaxed and casual environment in her sessions. She focuses on trauma and uses Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Motivational Interviewing. She is currently working towards the incorporation of Somatic Therapy.

Danielle’s typical Clientele:

Danielle mainly focuses on the age range of pre-teens to young adults struggling with trauma and eating disorders. She is interested in working with athletes and other clients wanting help with performance mindset or self-esteem concerns around sports and movement.

Education and Training:

Danielle received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University in 2022. She is EMDR trained, ITR trained, a Certified Nutrition Coach and a CrossFit Level-1 Trainer. She has a variety of experience in the mental health field ranging from internships at detox units, residential facilities, and crisis counseling in emergency departments. Danielle also has experience working in inpatient psychiatric units, school counseling settings, outpatient practices, as well as equine and animal assisted therapy.
