Discrimination Statement
At Creative Healing Art Therapy (CHAT), we acknowledge that the systems within which we operate can oppress individuals based on various aspects of their identity, including race, biological sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, ability, religion, and citizenship status. These intersecting identities can compound experiences of oppression, significantly impacting mental health and creating barriers to accessing essential mental health, medical, and community services.
We are dedicated to actively dismantling these systems of oppression and providing culturally competent, inclusive services. Our commitment is reflected in the ongoing training and education we pursue, both within our practice and through our individual efforts outside of employment.
CHAT has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or harassment of any kind. We prioritize accountability and a commitment to repair within our practice and among our clinicians. If you believe you have experienced discrimination or harassment while receiving our services, please contact Karli Johnson, Owner.
