“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time”

About:

Outside of the office, Jenn is a wife, mother, and teacher who values family, connection, and lifelong learning. She enjoys exploring new hobbies, developing new skills, and often finds herself collecting creative interests along the way. Most recently, Jenn has enjoyed learning the art of sourdough baking and crocheting. Family is a central part of her life, and she believes in supporting others as they prioritize the relationships that matter most to them. Jenn enjoys spending quality time with friends and loved ones and often shows care and support through shared experiences. She is always open to trying new things and embracing opportunities for growth, creativity, and connection.

Theoretical Framework and Modalities:

Jenn utilizes an art-based, client-centered approach that allows individuals to move through the therapeutic process at a pace that best supports their needs and goals. She incorporates expressive arts, play therapy, sand tray therapy, talk therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore emotions, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. Jenn’s goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She has experience supporting clients through grief and loss, life transitions, family separation, anxiety, stress, and social or school-related challenges. By focusing on each client's strengths and providing developmentally appropriate interventions, Jenn helps clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, and develop confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.

Jenn’s Typical Clientele:

Jenn has over seven years of experience working with children and adolescents. She welcome children, teens, young adults, and adults into her practice. She is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward their personal goals.

Jenn received her masters in Art Therapy at St. Mary’s of the Woods in 2021 and her ATR registration in 2024. She is currently pursuing LPC licensure and ATR-BC registration. She received her training in Practicing with Play, Creative Interventions Across the Lifespan in 2025.
